Metaalhandel Ketting invests in an Atlas 350MH Stage V recycling machine

In metal recycling, many hands make light work.

Well...not exactly 'light' - but our investment in a new Atlas 350MH Stage V recycling and material handling machine has made the job a lot easier. We'll be using this machine to recycle and scrap a range of metal items, including steel structures, standard containers and sea containers. The mobile unit will also help us to unload ships at our location. Metaalhandel Ketting has two docks along the Nieuwe Maas, which we use to unload scrap metals from ships for processing and recycling.

IMPRESSIVE SPECIFICATIONS

The Atlas 350MH has been fitted with a Stage V engine. This is very important to us, since it combines impressive power output with substantially lower emissions and noise output. The Atlas 350MH was designed and assembled according to our exact specifications by Kemp Groep. Among other things, Kemp has fitted the machine with a hydraulic quick coupler, an overpressure system, an extra camera and extra LED lighting. Our Atlas 350MH also has a bucket linkage for attaching a demolition/sorting grapple.

Technical specifications:

  • Operating weight 33,500 kg
  • Engine output: 180 kW (245 PS)
  • Machine width 3,000 mm
  • Emission stage: Stage V
